Hong Company Annual Maintenance

Once after incorporation, a Hong Kong incorporated company is required by the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and Inland Revenue Ordinance to update its books of accounts, prepare financial statements and arrange audit of its annual financial statements and file certain returns with both the Hong Kong Companies Registry (company registration authority) and Inland Revenue Department (tax authority).

The annual costs to be expected to maintain a private company limited by shares registered in Hong kong in good standing could be divided into two parts. The first part is fixed and considered to be the basic or minimum costs required and is fixed and the Second part is varied and determined by the nature of business, volume of transaction and amount of turnover and other factors.

Hong Kong Register Office

According to Sectin 92(1) of the Companies Ordinance of the Laws of Hong Kong, every Hong Kong company has to maintain a registered office in Hong Kong, for maintaining statutory records of the company and receipt of acknowledging government's correspondences. The registered address must be a local physical address and cannot be a Post Box number.

Providing registered office address is only for government post, such as inland revenue department or companies registry.

Company Secretary Services

According to the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 32) of the Laws of Hong Kong, each company must appoint a Company secretary who must reside in Hong Kong or a body corporate that must have its registered office in Hong Kong. Of all the duties, the company secretary has to make certain that the company is in compliance with the statutory requirements of the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and must maintain the statutory books and records of the company. NOT Director's secretary to type letters and doing normal office duties.

- the anniversary date is the date of the company’s date and month of incorporation

Business mails or couriers received in the register office and forwarding the same to your designated address by ordinary post. We don’t open the mails. The correspondence address should be updated time to time to forward the mails to you.

Government fees and disbursements
